This is another one of my favorite Shiraz to drink. I usually let my Shiraz breathe for an hour or two before drinking and this one in particular I let sit for in the decanter for awhile and WOW did this wine open up. First off, it’s very strong, around 15% alcohol so you know its an ass kicker. Kelsie and I both noticed the fruit bomb taste right away. I first noticed raspberries, lots of them, with a finish of cherry and almost an earthy taste. Something earthy beyond the oak finish. My dog, Wrigs, couldn’t keep his nose out of the glass. I definitely think I will buy another bottle and let it sit for a year and see what happens.
